Senior Partner, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, McKinsey & Company

Lareina Yee is the chief diversity and inclusion officer for McKinsey. She is also the global leader of the Firm’s technology hardware and services practice, advising companies on innovative strategies to achieve above-market growth. Lareina leads Women in the Workplace, a research partnership with LeanIn.org and the Wall Street Journal and has co-authored a significant body of additional research including Delivering Through Diversity and the Future of Women at Work.

Lareina frequently speaks about women in business at leading conferences across the globe, including most recently Aspen Ideas Festival, Women Deliver and the Wall Street Journal’s Women in the Workplace. She writes and speaks widely on diversity and inclusion topics including appearances in Fortune, the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg, Fox Business and many other outlets. Additionally, Lareina was chosen Working Mother of the Year in 2016 by Working Mother magazine.

Outside of McKinsey, Lareina is on the board of Safe & Sound, a not for profit focused on child-abuse prevention. A graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University, she lives in San Francisco with her husband and three boys.
