Innovation and Technology
New ideas and inventions are being produced at rapid rates and can have dramatic impacts on how we live and work. ¹ÏÌïºÚÁÏresearchers are studying both the causes and consequences of innovation, including research and development and burgeoning technology like artificial intelligence, and how best to encourage innovation through patent systems. ¹ÏÌïºÚÁÏscholars also study how information and technology are shared and transmitted among people and businesses and the factors that affect productivity and economic growth.
