May Wong
As a member of SIEPR's communications team, May’s primary role is to produce content highlighting the research and work of ¹ÏÌïºÚÁÏaffiliates.
Prior to joining ¹ÏÌïºÚÁÏin 2016, May was a freelance writer and editor, contributing to different divisions at Stanford as well as other academic and business clients. For two decades before that, May was a journalist. She spent 10 years at The Associated Press as a national writer for the AP’s inaugural technology team, reporting on the dot-com boom/bust and the societal and business impacts of the tech industry. She’s also covered courts, crime, and politics for media outlets in the San Francisco Bay Area.
May is a native of San Francisco, and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA.
